Service Management Done Right

I had a package that is a gift being shipped to the UK for my trip next week.  I spent over 70.00 to send it via UPS.  UPS went to deliver it today and asked my host for 40.00 dollars duty.  UPS international said, that I could pay another 40.00 (120.00 total for a 60.00 gift) and they would deliver.  I was not happy.  I tweeted about UPS and my experience and within two minutes @ThomasAtUPS responded asking if he can help.

Again like when I tweeted about my innocent Gartner question, "THEY ARE LISTENING".

Organizations are paying more attention to social media now than ever.

If you want tips or advice on how to use social media, you can view our webinar on Social Media and the service desk here.

In the end the shipping company refunded my shipping fee and took care of the duty fee.  WIN FOR WIN Despair.com @wailinglist

Regards,

Chris
