ITIL, You are what you tweet!

Ok, I admit I have a sharing problem,   I also admit there are companies and people in the ITIL elite that do not like my tweets, blogs or videos, actually I am proud of that one.  Just because people or orgs do not like my work it does not make me dislike them or even not RT them.

The ServiceSphere brand is growing and important messages regardless of the messenger need to be heard.  With that I do Retweet people and organizations I just do not care for,   the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

As a community of ITSM professionals we have a responsibility to each other.  We have a responsibility to intellectual property.  We have a responsibility to avoid pirates and people who share pirated material.

The spam list at ServiceSpheres Twitter  represents people who willingly or through automation, post to twitter,  pirated ITIL material and aggregate anything from Google with ITIL in the title.

To name the ITIL luminaries, individuals and organizations that follow these pirates would just draw more attention to this ugliness, but golly I want to!

Maybe you are hungry for information to tweet, maybe you like stolen IP, maybe you are just desperate to see your name on Twitter.  Following or Retweeting these people does more than devalue you, it devalues our community.  You are what you tweet!
