ITSM Membership Dollars - Part II ISACA

I am always amazed at the gap between how my membership dollars are spent with different organizations.  Today I got my 2010 ISACA kit.  If you are in IT Support, work on a service desk or a help desk, enjoy our lovely world of ITSM and ITIL then this video on your dollars is for YOU!!
Did you miss part I, HDI?  See that here!
p.s. We get a visitor to the mail room.  I guess ISACA has gone to the dogs!

Chris -

Please let me welcome you as a new member of ISACA. We are delighted to see that you opened your ISACA membership new member packet on your blog and gave us kudos on what you found. There are many more member-only benefits of ISACA membership that can’t fit into the new member kit that more than pay back your $180 investment. As a member you can get:

• Access to the eLibrary – searchable online content from more than 350 ISACA and third party books
• Free monthly e-Symposia where you can learn about tools and techniques and earn 3 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits each
• Reduced registration fee and study aid costs for the CISA, CISM and CGEIT exams
• Discounts on leading-edge technical and managerial conferences and workshops for professional development and CISA, CISM and CGEIT CPE credits and
• Preferred access to download publications and documents including several that focus on IT service management.

I am also glad to hear that you reached out to the ISACA chapter in your area. As a not-for-profit, membership-driven organization, our volunteers are our greatest asset. I hope you’ll get to meet many of them at the next chapter meeting.

Thanks for providing your readers a public service on the value of membership. It makes my job a little easier.
