If You Don't Own Your IT Image, Someone Else Will

Great event at Service-Now.  WAIT, ServiceSphere is supposed to be VENDOR AGNOSTIC? ServiceSphere is VENDOR AGNOSTIC.  We could sell ITSM tools, we choose not to.

Service-Now invited me to speak at there Knowledge Conference on Social Media and ITSM, being that I am a fan of Service-Now's use of social media this was a no brainer.

Communities are where we live both online and off, so it is a natural evolution to the abuse of technology that people are flocking to this new place to be "free".

I find it refreshing while some communities are embracing this session and workshop, I find it completely disturbing that some are ignoring it.

How can a session that overflowed at HDI 2010 and Service-Now 10 and had people lined up to meet and greet be so scary?

One word, YOU!.

You the people of the social networks have re-inherited your world and you are NOT meek.   It is time to stand up,  accept and embrace your customers, friends and organizations, they are here and out of your control.

Keeping them honest, doesn't pay much, but I CAN sleep at night.

OH:  "Things overheard, tweeted or said during the session"

"Your session was worth the price of this conference"

"Your's was the best #know10 session they attended. Great job. Thanks."

"Today I've discovered Twitter updates can't keep up with a @ServiceSphere presentation. #know10sm #know10"

"I agree, very valuable RT @xxxx @servicesphere is dropping gems like he's got holes in his pockets #know10 social media presentation"

"@ServiceSphere #know10 session is packed. Not bad (and not surprising) for a Thursday morning at 9 am.

"Chris Dancy killer presentation on social media!"

"Lots of amazing nuggets in this session, thanks for taking the time to make it great @ServiceSphere! #know10"

"In social media class with @ServiceSphere - been looking forward to this one #know10"

Don't believe me?  Check the Library of Congress.

THE REVIEWS ARE IN!!!

j_roberts: @ServiceSphere Survey response from your #know10 session.

"Only fireworks and dancing girls could have improved this session."
